St Mirren boss Stephen Robinson was delighted to see his side win three games in a row, picking up three clean sheets in the process.
Their single goal victory against Hibs came courtesy of an early strike from Keanu Baccus.
And while Robinson conceded it wasn’t their best performance of the trio of victories, he felt that didn’t matter a bit as they beat the toothless Leith side in Paisley.
Robinson said: “It’s not a surprise to me when you’ve got the type of boys we’ve got – organised, disciplined and hard to break down.
“They created two chances. Trevor Carson’s brilliant save in the second half and one in the first half goes just wide.
“But the game should’ve been out of sight with four or five hitting the woodwork.
“It was a real disciplined performance without us being at our very best.
“We were a little bit passive in our press, but maybe I’m being highly critical because we ended up nearly scoring four goals from how we pressed.
“As a collective we were organised and we know what we’re trying to do.
“We’ve brought some good players in that I felt were missing last year in terms of energy and pace.
“We’ve only changed 30 per cent of the squad.
“Hopefully we’ve found a way that suits the players that are here and those we brought in.”

Tolkien in the appendices of “The Lord of the Rings.” Like so many of her castmates of “The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power,” Cynthia Addai-Robinson didn’t know exactly who she was playing until she arrived in New Zealand to shoot the Amazon Prime Video series. Unlike several of her castmates, however, Addai-Robinson was not an obsessive fan of the expansive world of Middle-earth created by author J.R.R. Tolkien. But once she was cast as Míriel, the Queen Regent of the resplendently prosperous island nation of Númenor, the veteran actor (“Power,” “Shooter,” “Arrow,” “Spartacus”) dove in head first into the rich history of Númenor and Middle-earth.
