EXCLUSIVE: Brooklyn Nine-Nine stars Stephanie Beatriz (Encanto, In The Heights) and Melissa Fumero (Digman!, Velma) are teaming up on a new comedy podcast from iHeartMedia’s My Cultura Network launching on May 30.
More Better with Stephanie and Melissa will take listeners along on a personal ride through all aspects of life. They’ll share cheat codes for adulting, anecdotes and probably a few embarrassing stories.
The weekly podcast is the latest series that hails from executive producer Wilmer Valderrama’s exclusive slate which also includes Essential Voices with Wilmer Valderrama and Date My Abuelita, First! More Better with Stephanie and Melissa is a co-production under his WV Sound banner.
“I am so excited to partner with Wilmer, the whole My Cultura team, and the good folks at iHeart on this new venture of podcasting with one of my favorite people in the whole world, Stephanie Beatriz. I hope each week we can make you smile, laugh, feel seen, and maybe add a little joy to your day”, Fumero shared with Deadline.

The untitled, half-hour series has been given a 10 episode order. The official logline states that the show is “set on a college campus, centering on an author’s complicated relationship with his daughter.” “HBO has long been a standard bearer of quality TV,” Lawrence said.
