Piers Morgan launches fresh attack on Sam Smith in mission to ‘abolish wokery'

Piers Morgan, 58, vowed that he'd "restore Britain" to its "former glorious non-woke self" with the help of a twenty-point plan - and sanctions involving Unholy singer Sam Smith's videos are at the heart of his strategy. The semi-satirical piece, published in his column for The Sun on Thursday, suggests that "all 'preferred personal pronouns'" should be "banned with immediate effect", as they are "pointless, confusing and annoying". The TalkTV star - who is clearly feeling more Uncensored than Unholy - also took a swipe at Sam Smith.

Adele nearly crashes car with James Corden in final Carpool Karaoke

Adele left The Late Late Show host James Corden rather scared after almost crashing their car during his final Carpool Karaoke. The Rumour Has It singer, 34, gave James, 44, a rude awakening with some cymbals, as she announced she would be driving him to work for his last week on the show. A video clip of the duo's drive to work, in which they took part in the show's Carpool Karaoke, began with Adele telling James that she's "actually not a brilliant driver." The Proclaimers removed from Coronation playlist due to “anti-monarchy views”

The Proclaimers have been removed from the official Coronation playlist due to their “anti-monarchy views”.Craig and Charlie Reid – better recognised as The Proclaimers – will no longer feature on the playlist made for the upcoming coronation of King Charles III, which will take place on 6 May at London’s Westminster Abbey.Originally, their hit track ‘I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles) was included on the 27-song playlist, curated for the event by The Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS), however, has been revoked due to a wave of complaints centering around their “anti-monarchy views”.As described by the BBC, one of the examples of these views was demonstrated by Charlie Reid last year, after a man in Oxford was arrested for exclaiming “Who elected him?” during a proclamation event for the king in September. Reid weighed in on the moment in an interview, stating: “I thought that guy spoke for me, and he speaks for loads of other people.
