The fourth “Star Trek” movie was first announced in July of 2016, with Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Zoe Saldana, Karl Urban, John Cho and Simon Pegg expected to return. Chris Hemsworth, who appeared in the 2009 original, was set to return to the space saga as George Kirk, the father of Captain James T. Kirk (Pine).

Star Trek: Enterprise actor Gary Graham has sadly died at the age of 73, it has been announced, as his ex-wife Susan Lavelle shared the heartbreaking news on social media. Susan confirmed the tragedy with a message for the fans, as she shared her devastation and "profound sadness" at the loss. Along with a number of snaps of the late star, who also starred in Alien Nation, Susan said: "It is with deep profound sadness to say that Gary Graham, my ex husband, amazing actor and father of our beautiful only child together, Haylee Graham, has passed away today.
