Stacey Solomon has admitted she 'lost her confidence' as she opened up during a question and answer session with her fans. The Loose Women star took to social media to catch up with her social media followers as she returned to work after falling ill on holiday.
Stacey, 34, was seen last month heading off on a big Christmas and New Year break, which saw 20 of her nearest and dearest travel to Jamaica. But for the mum-of-five, things came to a dramatic end when she found herself having to visit the hospital.
Days after arriving back in the UK, Stacey spoke about the ordeal and explained to fans that on the last day of the holiday in the Caribbean, she started suffering 'flu-like' symptoms but carried on knowing she'd be going home a short while later. However, after missing a family dinner, her husband Joe Swash returned and was concerned for his wife whose temperature continued to rise as Joe called in her nurse sister for some advice.

With no improvement, they called on the hotel's medical staff who put Stacey on an oxygen mask and and said she needed to go to the hospital. Stacey later returned home with antibiotics and spent last week resting before she appeared back to more of her normal self and returned to work on Monday (January 15).
As she travelled back from her day of filming, Stacey decided to see if her followers had anything to ask her and during the Instagram Q&A, Stacey was asked: "What changes are you making for your f**k it 2024 mindset?! Can't wait to see." It comes after she vowed to change her mindset as the New Year began.
