Since the coronavirus pandemic reached North America several weeks ago, Spotify has made several moves to support artists and the creative community, ranging from substantial contributions to MusiCares, the Center for Disease Control and the World Health Organization to a $10 million matching fund through the Spotify COVID-19 Music Relief project, which recently added eight new partners.

Artists are now able to fundraise through their Spotify page as part of the service's COVID-19 Music Relief project
Artists on Spotify can now use their profiles on the platform to raise money from fans -- whether to support themselves, their bands and their crews amid the coronavirus pandemic or for a charity of their choice.The new feature, dubbed Artist Fundraising Pick, is similar to Artist's Pick, which allows Spotify For Artists users to select any piece of music to highlight on their profile.
