The SPFL have moved to correct Ann Budge after she claimed to have approved loans to clubs while on the league board.
The Hearts chief said in an interview that she had approved a loan to an unnamed club during her time on the SPFL board.
That caused a stir, as after a Rangers resolution was thrown out the governing body said it had not made a loan to a club for over 10 years.
Many pointed out an apparent contradiction, and the SPFL looked to clear things up with a statement.
