Spencer Matthews has exclusively opened up about going teetotal again after admitting having the “odd drink” didn't make him feel “good”.The former Made In Chelsea star originally quit booze back in 2018 when his wife Vogue Williams was pregnant with their first child, son Theodore, who is now three. But after indulging in the occasional drink “every so often”, the 33 year old says it made him question the point of drinking at all and go sober again.
Speaking at the launch of his low/non-alcoholic drinks brand CleanCo’s collaboration with Swingers Crazy Golf, he told OK! about being teetotal: “I am, having enjoyed the odd drink for many years! And Spencer, who is the brother-in-law of Pippa Middleton, says his decision has partly been down to maturing and becoming a dad. “I think it’s something to do with being officially middle-aged too,” he says.
“When I was 19 I could drink whatever I wanted but now, spending any extra time in bed not feeling 100% just doesn’t seem worth it. “We’ve got some audacious goals, we try to lead a very busy life and we have a third kid on the way, so being intoxicated doesn’t really fit.” He also says hangovers hit different as a busy parent, adding:
