Spain could introduce Covid passports so tourists can return 'from May'

It wouldn’t be summer without Love Island, so fans will be delighted to learn that the hit show is returning to our screens later this year. It will again be filmed in Majorca, Spain, after temporarily being held in South Africa for a winter edition of the show in 2020.

Love Island 2021 will head back to Spain with a back up cast to ensure it doesn't encounter the same difficulties as Dancing on Ice. Bosses of the hit ITV reality show are said to be keen to avoid a repeat of the disasters which have hit other telly shows during the coronavirus epidemic.

Love Island WILL be returning to Majorca this Summer after getting the COVID all-clear, according to sources. The hit show, which was hosted in South Africa last year, was preparing for a UK-based show due to travel restrictions, however executives have reportedly approved plans to see its return to the Spanish villa.
