'I never thought I'd be checking the Town Hall for bullet holes': Anger and shock after gunshots fired recklessly in the heart of the city centre
when gunshots rang out in St Peter's Square last night.It is believed two cars - a red Ford Mondeo and a silver Vauxhall Corsa - raced down Fountain Street with shots fired from the Mondeo at the Corsa.The Corsa then crashed in the Square before more shots were fired as the occupants fled, witnesses have told the M.E.N.At this time, it is not believed anyone was injured in the incident.Police flooded the scene and three teenagers aged 15, 17 and 19 were arrested on driving and firearms offences
