In exciting news, former Made in Chelsea stars Sophie Habboo and Jaime Laing are set to tie the knot in a UK ceremony today after four years of dating. To get herself looking glossy for her big day, Sophie has just headed to a hair salon for a last minute bridal transformation – and the results are *gorgeous*. Heading to Hershesons salon in London yesterday evening, the 29 year old uploaded a snap of herself in the chair, captioning it: "Back in the hot seat".
Sophie is pictured in her selfie with her usual dark blonde hair colour, but in images taken following her colour session, it's clear the star has gone for something a little bit brighter for the wedding. Standing outside of the salon with her hair still wet, Sophie looks incredible with new face-framing, money piece highlights. This light blonde shade has also been worked through the ends of her hair to give her a 'soft balayage' effect.
If you're not sure what money piece highlights are exactly, “the look involves making the bulk of hair darker, while keeping contrasting light sections of hair at the front,” Josh Wood, celebrity hairstylist, explained to us.The look plays on the 90s chunky highlights trend but in a softer, more flattering fashion. On the subject of Sophie and Jamie's wedding, how do we know it's taking place today? Sophie took to Instagram yesterday to share the big news, while also giving an explainer on the wedding beauty prep she's been undergoing.
"'I’m getting married tomorrow! I’ve been prepping my skin with monthly Hydrafacials from @hydrafacial_uk. I’ve been getting Hydrafacials since I was around 18 and I cannot recommend them enough and wanted to make sure I had a programme of treatments before the wedding," she captioned a Story.
