Eminem joined Ed Sheeran onstage during a stop on the US leg of the singer’s ‘Mathematics’ world tour this weekend.Performing at Ford Field in Detroit, Michigan on Saturday (July 15) – the hometown of Marshall Mathers, AKA Eminem – Sheeran brought the rap legend onstage to perform a couple of tracks.Sheeran began to play a cover of 2002 hit ‘Lose Yourself’ from the 8 Mile Soundtrack, telling the crowd he had only began to rehearse it earlier in the day, adding: “We’ll see how it goes.”As the UK singer-songwriter played the track, Eminem emerged onto the stage and was met by an eruption of cheers from the crowd.“Can I just say, he was gonna come out and do one song, but I said you can’t come out in Detroit and just do one song. Do you want another song?” Sheeran asked.The duo then performed Eminem’s 2000 track ‘Stan’, with Sheeran filling in for Dido‘s parts.

Coldplay paid tribute to Elton John during the final night of his ‘Farewell Yellow Brick Road‘ tour in Stockholm via a video broadcast last night (July 8).The music icon completed his world tour in the Swedish capital’s Tele2 Arena this weekend, after 333 shows and nearly five years.During the show, Coldplay – who were performing in Gothenburg, Sweden at the very same time – appeared onscreen through a video broadcast which was beamed out at the musicians’ respective concerts.Chris Martin and co. were performing John’s classic ‘Rocket Man’ at Gamla Ullevi stadium when the frontman called out to the musician.“Elton, can you hear us, from Gothenburg?” he asked, before John appeared on the screen.

Harry Styles is the latest artist to be hit by an item thrown onstage during a performance.

Taylor Swift surprised fans during the July 7 ‘Eras’ tour stop in Kansas City by bringing Taylor Lautner onstage.While performing at the Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City on July 7, Swift premiered a new music video for ‘I Can See You (Taylor’s Version) (From The Vault)’ halfway through her set.The music video – which was self-directed by Taylor Swift herself and can be seen below – stars Joey King, Taylor Lautner and Presley Cash – the latter of whom had dated Swift in the past and was the topic of her hit 2009 song ‘Back To December’.Since 2009, Lautner and Swift have gone on to become friends, with Lautner declaring earlier this year that he felt “safe” about the release of ‘Speak Now (Taylor’s Version)’.Swift took the surprises in Kansas City one step further, bringing out Lautner, King and actress Presley Cash onstage with her. Lautner, who was the last to be introduced, spiralled into a backflip on his way down the ramp to join Swift and co.“Taylor, I respect you so much.

The ongoing trend of hurling objects on stage at musicians during concerts seems to be getting stranger. Lil Nas X managed to avoid injury with some quick reflexes.

Shania Twain met the floor on tour this weekend after slipping onstage while performing. Twain, 57, was strutting across the stage in Chicago to her song "Don't Be Stupid (You Know I Love You)" in knee-high boots when she slid and fell to the ground.  In a fan recorded video, the country star did not skip a beat, amusingly yelling to the crowd, "Don't be stupid Chicago. You know I love you," before letting out a little scream.

Lil Nas X managed to avoid injury with some quick reflexes.The «Industry Baby» artist was performing at European Lollapalooza in Stockholm, Sweden over the weekend when a concertgoer decided to hurl an item onto the stage, midway through his performance of «Down Souf Hoes.»The sudden tossing seemed to surprise Lil Nas X, who still managed to avoid getting hit by it after some fast footwork. However, he was more surprised when he walked back to retrieve the item and found out it was a particularly NSFW toy.Specifically a sex toy.
