Sofia Richie Grainge has welcomed her first child with husband Elliot Grainge.
The 25 year old confirmed their new arrival on Instagram, revealing that her daughter was born on 20 May - the 'best day' of her life. In her social media announcement, Sofia also shared their baby girl's adorable name.
Posting a black-and-white photo of her daughter's tiny feet, she wrote: "Eloise Samantha Grainge. 5•20•24 best day of my life." Sofia's celeb pals raced to the comments to pass along their best wishes, with model Emily Ratajkowski writing: "eloise! [three red heart emojis] congratulations." High School Musical star Ashley Tisdale said: "Omg the sweetest name!!" Meanwhile, Sofia's bestie and TikToker Jake Shane penned: "Perfect angel.
I love her already." Sofia, who is the daughter of singing superstar Lionel Richie, previously discussed her and Elliot's excitement about welcoming their first baby. She wrote: "Our hearts are filled with so much love! So thankful for all of your support! Can't wait for this next chapter of life." Announcing the news in British Vogue, the publication shared a photoshoot of Sofia showing off her growing baby bump.
She told the outlet: "I found out very, very early. [Elliot] is such a sweet guy, he always wants to protect my emotions and expectations, so he kind of sat me down and said, ‘If these are negative, don’t be upset.
"Our moment will come.’ When we turned over all three tests at the same time, they were all positive." Sofia also told Vogue: "We both really thought it was a boy, so it was a true shock. My dream in life is to have a daughter [though], and Elliot is really excited for a girl too." Sophia married her beau Elliot in a lavish ceremony in the French Riviera.
