The long-running sketch comedy series parodied the Will Smith-Chris Rock slap incident at the 2022 Oscars during the Saturday night episode (April 2) of the show.

In the sketch, called “Seat Fillers,” an Oscars seat filler (Jerrod Carmichael) gets interrupted while talking to Will Smith (Chris Redd).
While the seat filler character had initially asked Will for a selfie, things took a turn after he gets up and slaps the host.
“No, that’s OK, nah, I deleted my phone,” Jerrod says during the sketch.
It also wasn’t the only time they poked fun at the incident. During his monologue, Jerrod had a hard time not addressing the slap.
