Revered Bollywood actor, Irrfan Khan, has passed away after a prolonged and arduous battle with cancer.

The 53-year-old's death was confirmed by a spokesperson just days after he was admitted to the intensive care unit of Mumbai's Kokilaben hospital with a colon infection.
"It’s saddening that this day, we have to bring forward the news of him passing away," the statement read. "Irrfan was a strong soul, someone who fought till the very end
