Watch our full video interview with Smith above.Having long teased the band’s long-awaited “merciless” new record – having told us that two new albums were on the way back at the last NME Awards back in 2020 – Smith tonight revealed that one of them would be “real very soon”, as well as sharing more about its sister record and his anticipated solo album.“So I’ve been working on two Cure albums, and one of them is finished,” Smith told NME. “Unfortunately, it’s the second one that’s finished.

They Hate Change, the Tampa Bay duo of Dre and Vonne, have announced Finally, New, their third studio LP and their debut album with Jagjaguwar. The album follows 2018's Now, and Never Again and 2019's Juices Run Clear, both released via Deathbomb Arc.

Maria Chiara Argirò has announced a forthcoming album, Forest City, and shared its second single, "Bonsai." In the past decade, Argirò has pushed to the forefront of two disparate jazz fusion scenes — first in her native Rome and then in London, where she currently resides. When she started out, there were few women jazz players in her city, but she didn't let that hold her back.

Papa Roach have announced their 11th studio album, ‘Ego Trip’ along with a new song, ‘Cut The Line’.Announced on Tuesday (March 1), ‘Ego Trip’ is set for an April 8 release via New Noize Records. Kanye West will not make his upcoming album Donda 2 available on any of the traditional streaming services, a move he claims is "taking control" back from an "oppressive system" that doesn't benefit artists. The album will only be available via Ye's own Stem Player, a $200 device launched in 2021 when he put out Donda. Posting on Instagram, Ye shared a preview of new music and outlined his vision for a future that doesn't involve third party streaming sites.

HEALTH have announced details of their new album ‘DISCO4 :: PART II’. Waterparks have shared an update on their forthcoming new album, teasing that it’s “80 per cent done”.The follow-up to last year’s ‘Greatest Hits’ will be the band’s fifth album, and according to a social media post the Texas trio are wading through a lot of material.Yesterday (February 14), the band’s official Twitter account confirmed that their next album – tentatively titled ‘PARX5’ – is currently “80 per cent done”.
