Sir Billy Connolly has said he may consider a return to acting if a "nice thing" came up.
The comedian was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in 2013 and he announced his retirement from live performances five years later.
Last week he confirmed he is "finished" with stand-up comedy .
But he said he would consider returning to the screen, and would even be open to playing a character with Parkinson's.
His last major film role was What We Did On Our Holiday, released in 2014, which also starred

During a week of global misery, there is some good news today as it was revealed that Billy Connolly may return to acting.
Just like the fans were promised, John Cena made an appearance on the latest SmackDown show and things got all heated up when he confronted Bray Wyatt aka The Fiend at the event. WWE brought together Cena and Wyatt before their much-anticipated match scheduled for the upcoming WrestleMania 36 event which will take place on April 6, 2020. Keeping in mind the severity of the ongoing Coronavirus crisis, WWE decided to host its upcoming SmackDown show at a smaller venue without the live audience, which is usually the life of the show. The show, which was originally scheduled to take place at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan, has now been moved to WWE Performance Center in Orlando.
