Simon Cowell will no longer appear as a judge on The X Factor Israel.
The 61-year-old reality TV star, who signed a deal to be one of the judges on the upcoming season of the Israeli version of the long-running music competition series set to film this summer, is backing out of the deal, Variety reported Sunday (May 30).
A spokesperson for the production company Reshet confirmed the news, saying he cancelled “for his own reasons.” It was not made clear if Simon will still be involved in any way
