COVID-19 continues to disrupt television schedules due to unexpected production shutdowns, and Showtime has announced plans to split up the seasons of its dramas “Black Monday” and “Billions”.
The second season of “Black Monday” (which premiered a few weeks back) and the fifth season of “Billions” (set to premiere May 3) will both be interrupted mid-way through their seasons, which will resume once the worldwide pandemic is over and its deemed safe for film and TV productions to restart.

Talk about a cliffhanger. Chicago P.D., Chicago Fire and Chicago Med will not complete filming on their current seasons after the coronavirus shutdown, Us Weekly can confirm. In addition, the NBC dramas’ finales will air earlier than initially scheduled.
Showtime has made some changes to its schedule as a result of the current health crisis.

Showtime has joined almost every network in being forced to make scheduling changes due to the coronavirus pandemic, which has caused widespread production shutdowns across the globe.
The curtain is closing on Empire earlier than expected. The Fox drama, now in its sixth and final season, shut down production in the wake of the coronavirus spread and will not start back up and shoot the planned series finale.
