On Friday (March 18), the 23-year-old singer shared a video with fans about his new music, explaining how his new lyrics reflect his real-life struggles after splitting with girlfriend Camila Cabello.

“You don’t realize when you’re breaking up with someone … all the s–t that comes after it,” Shawn said in a video posted to Twitter.
“Which is like, who do I call when I am, like, in a panic attack, who do I call when I am, like, f–king on the edge, you know?” Shawn continued. “And I think that’s the reality that kinda I am on my own now after like, finally I am actually on my own and I hate that … that’s my reality, you know.”
Shawn and Camila, 25, announced back in November 2021 that they had broken up after two years of dating.
