Sharon Osbourne has confessed that her husband, Ozzy Osbourne, is worried about her health following her dramatic weight loss.
The former X Factor judge, 71, spoke on Good Morning Britain about her recent transformation and expressed regret over using the drug Ozempic to lose weight. In her chat with hosts Ben Shephard and Kate Garraway, Sharon spilled the beans on plans to turn her life with Ozzy into a film, becoming a grandma, and Ozzy's concerns for her wellbeing. But fans of the ITV show took to social media to voice their worries for Sharon after her appearance.
While on the Good Morning Britain couch, Sharon cautioned viewers about the risks of using Ozempic for weight loss.
This medicine is usually used to lower the risk of heart attacks in adults with heart disease and to help control blood sugar levels in people with Type 2 diabetes, but it has been recently used by dieticians too. Earlier this year, Sharon opened up about her personal experience with Ozempic, revealing that she lost more weight than she initially planned due to the medication. Speaking on Good Morning Britain today, Sharon confessed she 'could do with putting on a few pounds' and expressed concerns about Ozempic.
"My fear is that it [ozempic] is put in the right hands," Sharon shared with Ben and Kate this morning. "I fear for teenagers... I'm scared for those aged 16 to 20 as it's so easy to take it and think 'I can eat what I want'.
It needs to be in the hands of only people who totally understand it. I don't want young girls... the world we live in today means everyone wants to be skinny."
