Former EastEnders' star Shane Richie looks unrecognisable in his latest role.The 58 year old, best known for playing Alfie Moon in the BBC soap, has transformed into a drag queen for the UK tour of hit stage musical, Everybody's Talking About Jamie. In the show, Shane is reprising the role of drag queen Loco Chanelle, a role he first played in the West End in 2019.The show is based on the real life story of Jamie Campbell, a schoolboy who fought against prejudice and bullying to become a successful drag queen. Shane took to Instagram to share his drag transformation with his 251,000 followers, having donned bright red lipstick, fake eyelashes, bold eyeliner and a curly ginger wig.

The tour has now moved on to Cornwall before heading off to Edinburgh, Wimbledon, Sheffield, Milton Keynes and finally, Glasgow.
Shane is best known for playing the cheeky Alfie Moon in EastEnders, on and off, from 2002 to 2019. He also had starring roles in series Benidorm and Moving On, whilst carving out a stage career. Shane has been married to his actress wife Christie since 2007.
