Shane MacGowan's widow, Victoria Mary Clarke, has finally spoken out after a Catholic priest criticised the stars funeral, describing it as "completely inappropriate".
The mass for the singer, which took place on Friday in Nenagh, Tipperary, was attended by hundreds of people looking to pay their respects to the musician, reports the Mirror.
Shane's wife, Victoria Mary Clarke, also delivered a candid eulogy where she spoke about his drug use, his 'illegal' consumption of the Holy Communion, and even made a reference to the Depp vs Heard libel case.
The funeral included a performance of The Pogue's famous song, Fairytale of New York, and a social gathering was attended afterwards by the likes of Johnny Depp, as A-listers celebrated the singer's life.

However, not everyone was impressed by the unconventional funeral, as one priest in Northern Ireland slammed the nature of the service.
And during this scathing criticism from a member of the Catholic Church, Victoria has spoken out on social media to share a message with her followers.
Captioning a shot of herself with her late husband, Victoria told her Instagram followers today: "I just wanted to say thank you for so many beautiful messages of support, I know that each and every one of you has plenty of problems and challenges of your own to be thinking about and you are all so generous and kind and thoughtful and compassionate and I am deeply grateful to you. Please take a moment to appreciate yourselves!!!
