A sex beast has been remanded in custody after being convicted of raping a schoolgirl. Gabriel Marinoaica preyed on the youngster, who cannot swim, when she was in the sea.
The 20-year-old pulled the 15-year-old into deep water after spotting her while she was playing in a shallow area with her friends. He asked the girl her age and name and pulled her by the arm further out to sea.
He pounced after the girl's friends left the water and went back to the beach, carrying out a "horrific attack" on the day in question, in July 2021, in Bournemouth, Dorset.
Marinoaica went on trial at Bournemouth Crown Court and is now behind bars after being convicted. The Mirror reports the 15-year-old victim had been playing in the sea, when she and her friends began playing with a ball with another group.
She went to fetch the ball which had been picked up by Marinoaica and he began speaking to her, before pulling her further out and groping her.
The girl, who could not swim, was only able to get away when one of her friends went back into the water and approached the pair, the court heard.
During the trial , prosecutor Ellie Fargin said: "It was at this point the defendant pulled at [her] arm and pulled her out to sea. [She] could no longer touch the bottom, she really was in deep water.
"[She] told Marinoaica: 'No, get off me,' but he ignored her. He was touching her everywhere, she was uncomfortable and wanted to get out but he pulled her out further.”
