A serial sex offender has been jailed for two years after he was found guilty of a “humiliating” assault on a prison officer.
Raymond Fairhurst, 70, committed the offence whilst being held at HMP Forest Bank last year.
Geoff Wheeler, prosecuting, told an earlier trial that Fairhurst was being supervised by a prison officer whilst awaiting medical assessment at the site in February, 2020.
