People across the country and around the world have taken the streets to protest since late May, demanding justice for George Floyd and other black citizens who have died in the hands of police.

A few days ago, it was reported that BTS and Big Hit Entertainment were in talks to decide upon an amount to donate towards the Black Lives Matter movement. The K-Pop band decided to step forward and do their bit as people took to the street in the US protesting and demanding justice for George Floyd following his death by the hands of a police officer.

As people across America, including several celebrities, extend their support to the Black Lives Matter movement, CM Punk took a shot at AJ Styles for not speaking up amid George Floyd protests. As the civil unrest flares in the US cities after the death of Floyd, multiple celebrities have been joining the movement by participating in the peaceful protests by posting messages of solidarity via social media.

Thousands of people have taken the streets, from Minneapolis to Los Angeles to Miami, and beyond, to protest against racial injustice and police brutality in the U.S. The national outrage is in response to the death of George Floyd and other black citizens who have died in the hands of police.

On May 25, George Floyd was arrested by four policemen in Minneapolis for an alleged case of forgery and one of the policemen kneeled down on his neck until he died of breathlessness.

Out of the many stars who stood in solidarity for the Black Lives Matter movement, Selena Gomez also extended her support by shutting down her website to protest police violence against the black community. The 27-year-old not only participated in "Blackout Tuesday" but also urged fans to develop introspective thinking and called for justice for George Floyd after the former football player's tragic death at the hands of four policemen on May 25 in Minneapolis.
