A Scots woman was left in tears after an Instagram date threatened to rape her.
Becca McFarlane was horrified after she received the vile message from a man she had agreed to go for a drink with.
The 27-year-old from Dumbarton, had exchanged messages with the man on several occasions on the social media platform.
He then went on to tell her if she came near him wearing the outfit she had on in her Instagram pictures, he would rape her.
In the sickening message he wrote: "I've thought about you
