Dad Nabil Ahmed, 24, had spent all day Friday at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Maternity Unit in Glasgow with his wife Kiran.
But the security officer headed back to their home in Shawlands around 11pm and his daughter Mahi Ahmed was born soon after.
