A Scots mum was left distraught after her five-year-old daughter had a huge patch of her hair ripped out when it got caught in an electric whisk.
The freak accident occurred when the schoolgirl, who we are not naming to protect her identity, was baking cakes with her grandmother at the weekend.
The Ayrshire youngster leaned forward towards the bowl to check if the cake mix was ready and in a 'split-second' her hair became tangled up in the rapid mixer and immediately torn from her scalp.
