A former charity worker was jailed yesterday for raping two former girlfriends.
John Wood, 38, attacked the women, who can’t be named for legal reasons, a month apart at a flat in Glasgow.
Wood, who had been employed to help some of Scotland's most vulnerable people, denied raping the women in August and September 2015, at a flat in the city’s Dowanhill area.
But he was convicted following a trial at the High Court in Glasgow last month and returned to the dock yesterday to be sentenced.
He was jailed for six years for the offences, backdated to March 7, when he was first remanded in custody.

His first victim, 44, said he first raped her when she decided to end their relationship.
