Property entrepreneurs Colin and Justin spent the night in the freezing cold after a power cut at their Canadian hotel.
The design gurus are currently renovating their Nova Scotia property and were forced to kip in their van during -14 temperatures after disaster struck.
The couple initially thought they could get away with using some scented candles they'd bought to light up the Louisbourg venue during the outage.
But they soon realised they couldn't stay inside as the power cut went on for 26 hours, with the temperature inside dropping to -3.
Sharing a picture of themselves with their laptop inside their Ford F150 truck, Justin told fans: "This is where Colin and I have been working for the last three hours: inside our #F150.
"We’ve had a 26 hour power outage (thus far) and an advisory that says it won’t be back on until this time tomorrow evening.
"WTF?! It’s minus 14 outside. Minus 3 in our living room.
"But hey: it’s TOTALLY toasty in the truck.
"So we’re literally gonna spend the night in here. Where it’s warm. We have emails to send. Documents to prepare. Furniture ordering to continue.
"Metaphorical fires (sadly not real ones) to put out. Work has to continue, regardless of Mother Nature’s chillier arsenal."
The couple, who recently bought their Ford truck, added: "The team at @colbourne_ford told us our grey toned big guy would be a problem solver, but we didn’t expect it to become our shelter from the ice storm.
"Now if you’ll excuse us: we have two cats to collect from our frigid home. And cold sandwiches to make. Blankets to bundle. We HAVE to stay warm.
"And we’ll stay wide awake. Does anyone have any tips to help allay the torpedoing temperatures? And come on - keep it clean, peeps. Keep it clean..."
