Six residents at a care home in South Lanarkshire have tested positive for coronavirus.
Highgate Care Home in Uddingston confirmed the six positive cases have been identified within the facility.
The residents are being monitored, their condition is unknown.
All staff, residents and residents’ families are being informed.
Strict control measures have now been implemented at the facility to minimise the risk of spreading the virus further within the care home.
