A schoolboy has been seriously injured after he was attacked by a group of thugs carrying ‘large heavy bladed weapons’ at the grounds of a Glasgow school.
The 14-year-old was playing with his friends at a school in Easterhouse, Glasgow, when he was approached by four or five males at around 6pm on Thursday night.
Some of the thugs were in possession of weapons when they descended on the school.
The young victim was later raced to hospital after suffering serious injuries to his body in the attack.
