Dedridge Primary School’s drama group have been celebrating their successful performance of Gawen Robinson’s musical ‘The X Factory’ which was funded by the National Lottery Community Fund.
This allowed the children to secure a booking to perform their show on May 31 in West Lothian’s Howden Park Centre in Livingston to an audience consisting of family, friends, and residents of their local community.
This was a valuable opportunity for many of the local community to experience a theatre visit during a very challenging economic climate at no cost to themselves.
The funding has supported backstage theatre visits, drama workshops by professional actors and the chance to adapt and create costumes to enhance the experience for the actors and audience.
