Former Gogglebox star Scarlett Moffatt has been left traumatised after a terrifying experience in a train station last night when a stranger attempted to kidnap her.
Scarlett 31, filmed herself crying on her Instagram stories as she recalled the worrying experience.
A shaken Scarlett explained the ordeal as she sobbed and warned her fans to "keep safe" if they are out and about alone.
Scarlett said through tears that a man who had been 'stalking her' on social media, came up behind her and shouted: "You’re coming home with me.”
The reality TV star then issued a safety warning to her followers and warned against posting locations on social media, taking care, especially with Instagram location settings.
Scarlett's horrifying encounter occurred at King's Cross train station in London.
Earlier she'd shared with fans that she was heading to the capital.
The 'creepy' man met Scarlett at the station, after working out her whereabouts, and proceeded to get her to go home with him.
Thankfully, the TV star was saved from being abducted as two train guards spotted the commotion. They then rescued her the man before escorting her back to her hotel to safety.
Scarlett looked visibly shaken as she detailed the horror story on her Instagram, as she explained: "Right, I’m going to do this video, and not for attention or anything like that.
“Firstly I want to say a massive thank you to Neil and Danny who work for LNER, because it isn’t in your job description to walk me all the way to my hotel and I really, really appreciate it. I’m going to tag LNER so that they can see this because honestly, I don’t know what I would have done without you.
