LOS ANGELES (Variety.com) – “Saturday Night Live” plans to air a third episode produced remotely this weekend, which will serve as the finale of a shorter-than-expected season.

Saturday Night Live hasn't announced whether it will air another remotely produced episode on Saturday, May 9, but we will be getting a Mother's Day special. The official SNL Twitter account announced Wednesday afternoon that a special compilation episode would air Sunday, May 10.

The return of “Saturday Night Live At Home” two weeks after its historical remote episode came as a bit of a surprise. NBC announced this week’s show just Thursday, despite a track record of advertising upcoming episodes far earlier in normal times. But, as if anyone needs to say it at this point, times are anything but normal.

In honor of some of the show's content from the SNL Vault being available on Peacock, NBC's new streaming service, we're looking back at of our personal favorite sketches of all time from the storied show.
