Sandyhills family hit by sickness bug during nightmare French Alps holiday

With the world taking a seemingly dystopian turn due to the Cover-19 pandemic, “My First Family,” a high-concept series project set in an alternate world created by Maya Zaydman (“Our Boys”) and Ori Sivan (“In Treatment”), will likely strike a chord with audiences.

The novel coronavirus has had a colossal and devastating impact on the world since its first reported case in December 2019 in Wuhan, China. Since then, it has traveled to nearly every country across the globe, with major outbreaks in Italy, Iran, Spain, Germany, the United States and France. England has also been hit particularly hard, leading the British royal family to take quick and appropriate action.

Many of us are in need of a little cuteness right now, and I'm happy to report that once again, Chrissy Teigen has delivered. On Sunday, she posted a photo of children Luna and Miles Stephens, being inordinately adorable as ever. It was a sad day for Modern Family fans across the globe when it was announced on Sunday, March 15, that Stella the French bulldog that belonged to Ed O’Neill’s character Jay Pritchett passed away. Beatrice (the name of the beloved Frenchie) came on in season four of the hit ABC show to replace her fellow Frenchie and doggy actress Brigitte. In an interview with Bodie on the Road, owners Guin and Steve Solomon shared how Beatrice was one of the family while on set.

Beatrice, the beloved French bulldog who portrayed Stella Pritchett on Modern Family for several seasons, has reportedly died of unknown causes. The Blast reported on Sunday that the dog passed away about a week ago, after the ABC comedy's wrapped production on the series finale.

Jesse Tyler Ferguson took to Twitter on Sunday to pay tribute to his canine co-star, Beatrice.

Beatrice, who famously played Stella on Modern Family, has sadly died.
