Sam Heughan has revealed his favourite Outlander scene and it will melt the heart of fans.
The Outlander actor has been playing Highland heartthrob Jamie Fraser since 2013 and viewers are still obsessed with the beloved actor. In a recent interview, Sam, 43, was asked if he could pick out his favourite scene between Jamie and Claire Fraser, who is played by Caitriona Balfe.
The Balmaclellan-born actor, who is a self-confessed hopeless romantic, chose the season one wedding between Jamie and Claire as his favourite moment out of the six series released. When asked by Buzzfeed News, Sam smiled and quipped: “There's a lot of love in Outlander...
"You know, it always goes back to season 1," he added. "The wedding, I think, is, you know – new love right? People falling in love.”
This comes after a new Outlander trailer dropped, allowing fans to get a hint towards the penultimate season, as Jamie and Claire get caught up in the middle of the American Revolution.
"I'm not as brave as I was before, you ken?" Jamie can be heard saying towards the beginning of the trailer. "Not brave enough to live without you anymore."
Later, Claire says: "I'd hoped that Jamie would stay away from it, but maybe he's supposed to be there. Maybe he always was."
