Home and Away star Orpheus Pledger has been charged after he was allegedly found with a quantity of the drug “ice”, also known as methamphetamine, in his possession.The actor pleaded with a magistrate to be “gentle” on him as he appeared over the charge on Wednesday, July 14 at a court in Melbourne, according to The Daily Mail.The soap star was arrested by Prahran police on February 19 and was charged with two counts of drug possession.

But Marny Kennedy – whose character Rachel’s stint in Summer Bay came to an abrupt end when she was fatally struck by a car - may have just received the most unique tribute of all time.

While in some instances it’s clear-cut how and why the character died, when it comes to murder, the culprit is often the last person you’d expect.

The actress has now taken to Instagram to share details of her final days on the set and say a big thanks to the Home and Away crowd for having her.

The character, played by Marny Kennedy, had just been released from hospital after spending weeks recovering from a skydiving accident under the watchful eye of Dr Christian Green (Ditch Davey) when she was fatally hit by a car in horror scenes.
