WWE WrestleMania to London, should he be re-elected as mayor for a third term.On Thursday (April 25), Khan took to X (formerly Twitter) to announce his plans, adding that the nation’s capital will also attempt to attract the Super Bowl and NBA, as well as launching another bid for the 2040 Olympics.“London is already the sporting capital of the world. If I’m re-elected next Thursday – we’ll go even further,” he wrote.
“We’ll look to bring WrestleMania, Super Bowl and the NBA to London, and put together another bid for the 2040 Olympics.”Khan’s post caught the attention of WWE’s chief content officer and wrestling legend Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque, who replied: “Let’s talk.”London is already the sporting capital of the world.
