Sabrina Carpenter just released her new album Emails I Can’t Send and it’s getting some of the best reviews of her music career.
This is Sabrina‘s fifth studio album and possibly her most personal one to date. She wrote all 13 songs on the album and she collaborated with songwriters like Julia Michaels, JP Saxe, John Ryan, and Leroy Clampitt.
The song “Because I Liked a Boy” addresses the backlash that she received after she was involved in an alleged love triangle with Joshua Bassett and Olivia Rodrigo following the release of Olivia‘s “Driver’s License.”
Sabrina shared in an email newsletter, “my new album emails i can’t send is finally out. funny cause this email i am sending but lol. it is officially yours to have and to hold. it has taken me a long time to get to a place where i could just be honest with myself, i hope if anything this record can inspire you to do the same.”
