Saban Films has taken North American rights tothe Bruce Willis-starring sci-fi action flick Cosmic Sin. The film, currently in postproduction, is written and directed by Corey Large and Edward Drake (Breach).
Large is also producing, withStephen Eads executive producing. Cosmic Sinfollows a group of warriors and scientists who must fight to protect and save their race when a hostile alien species with the power to infect and take over human hosts sets its sights on a futuristic human society.

BORDEAUX, France — Madrid-based Latido Films has taken international rights to Roc Espinet’s feature debut “Girl and Wolf,” an animated feature for young audiences based on Espinet’s eponymous graphic novel. “Girl and Wolf” is one of the projects offered at the ongoing Cartoon Movie, Europe’s leading animated movie co-production event, where Variety has learned of the acquisition.
