His Instagram post featured a photo and a soundless video clip of the pair and letter-turner Vanna White spending time together on the game show’s set.“Pat, congratulations on an incredible run with ‘Wheel of Fortune!’ ” Seacrest wrote.
“Your dedication, charm, and wit have made the show a beloved part of American television for decades.”He continued: “Your partnership with Vanna has been nothing short of iconic, and together, you’ve created countless wonderful memories for viewers. You’ve set the standard for hosts everywhere, and this marks the end of an era.”“Best wishes for all your future endeavors!” Seacrest concluded his message.Sajak announced his retirement after 41 seasons last June.He recorded a goodbye video to fans hours before his final episode was broadcast on television.“Well, the time has come to say goodbye,” Sajak said.
