Ryan Gosling's wife breaks silence after he walks Oscars red carpet with another woman

Ryan Gosling, who was up for the Best Supporting Actor award at the Oscars, surprised fans by showing up with a different woman on his arm. Ryan and his wife Eva Mendes have been happily married for over ten years, but they like to let each other shine solo at events.
For the 96th Academy Awards, Eva ditched the red carpet as Ryan instead walked with sister Mandi. Instead, Eva showed her support for her hubby from backstage, sharing a sweet Instagram post captioned: "Always by my man." The couple, who first met on the set of their film The Place Beyond the Pines, haven't walked a red carpet together since 2012.
Eva also explained last year why she wouldn't be joining Ryan, who she has two daughters, Esmeralda, 9, and Amada, 7, with, on the red carpet for the Barbie press tour. She simply stated: "We don't do those things together." As reported by the Express, Eva explained why on Instagram as she told a fan: "Like these photos I've been posting, I'm only comfortable posting because it's already out there.
Oh wait -for those who may catch me in a 'lie' -- we only were on the red carpet together once when promoting this film." Also appearing at the event without his partner was Bradley Cooper.
The Maestro star was expected to appear with new girlfriend Gigi Hadid but he instead rocked up at the awards with his mum, Gloria Campano. Fans had believed Bradley and Gigi would "hard launch" their romance at the star-studded event but the model was instead spending the evening with her daughter.
