'RuPaul's Drag Race' Season 15 to Air Full 90-Minute Episodes on Paramount+!

“The music video episodes are our main episode where we showcase the best queens from that season,” says production designer Gianna Costa. After winning an Emmy last year for Season 14’s music video episode “Catwalk”, Costa is nominated again this year for “Blame it on the Edit”, which is ideal for someone who grew up watching music videos on MTV. “My favorite part of the music video episodes is getting to look back at all these music videos I love.”

Netflix’s The Chosen One follows a boy with Jesus-like powers in the heart of Mexico.Based on the comic book series American Jesus by Mark Millar and Peter Gross, the fantasy series follows the struggles of 12-year-old boy Jodie (Bobby Luhnow), who suddenly discovers he has the abilities of Jesus Christ.A synopsis for the series reads: “Jodie, a twelve-year-old boy from Santa Rosalía, Baja California Sur, after surviving a freak accident, discovers that he has Jesus-like powers: He can turn water into wine, make the crippled walk and perhaps even raise the dead.“How will he deal with his destiny and lead the world through a conflict that’s been thousands of years in the making?”The series spans six episodes in total, which were all released on August 16.All six episodes were directed by Everado Gout, while Everado, Leopoldo Goult, Jorge Dorantes, Kevin Rodriguez, Iturri Sosa and Tina de la Torre wrote the series.A trailer for the series was released in June – check it out above.Other cast members include Dianna Agron, Tenoch Huerta, Lilith Amelie Siordia Mejia, Juan Fernando Gonzalez Anguamea, Jorge Javier Arballo Osomio, Patricio Serna Meza, Carlos Bardem, Alfonso Dosal and Sofia Sisniega.The Chosen One is available to stream on Netflix.

Naman Ramachandran “RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars” Season 8 winner Jimbo and runner up Kandy Muse will each be headlining their own WOW Presents Plus original series, producer World of Wonder has revealed. “Jimbo Presents: It’s My Special Show!” marks the first WOW Presents Plus original series to be filmed in front of a live studio audience. The talk show will feature celebrity guests Nicole Byer, Charo, Dustin Milligan, Daniel Franzese, Heidi N Closet, Deja Skye, Pangina Heals, and Rock M Sakura. “Inside the Producer’s Studio” will see Kandy Muse interview fellow “Drag Race” queens. Guests include Vanjie, Jimbo, Morgan McMichaels, Kerri Colby, Kimora Blac, Scarlet Envy, Aja and Gottmik.

BreAnna Bell International Drag Day was celebrated Wednesday night at the World of Wonder Gallery in Hollywood. As guests enjoyed the festivities, which featured cupcakes as well as “RuPaul’s Drag Race” merch and cocktails, the evening’s performers — Jiggly Caliente, Pangina Heals and Nicky Doll — addressed political attacks against drag performers. On Monday, Ohio representatives Josh Williams (R-Sylvania) and Angela King (R-Celina) introduced a bill at their statehouse that would ban “adult cabaret performances” that showcase “entertainers who exhibit a gender identity that is different from the performers’ or entertainers’ gender assigned at birth” in all locations outside of nightclubs or bars. The bill is the latest anti-drag motion to follow after Tennessee’s anti-drag show law, which was deemed unconstitutional by a federal judge in June. Measures have also been filed, with varying levels of success, in Arkansas, Alabama, Florida, and Idaho.
