Popular TV soap opera Fair City has fallen foul of the Covid-19 pandemic with the number of weekly episodes curtailed and production suspended.
RTÉ said the suspension of the popular TV soap was in response to the coronavirus pandemic.
RTÉ confirmed that filming and production of Fair City would cease with immediate effect and that the number of episodes would be cut back to two per week from next week.
