Things get awkward for Rose Delaney and Mali Hudson on Monday's episode of Channel 5's Home and Away, 28 August. Plus Felicity Newman is left struggling to know what to do after the man who sexually assaulted her makes contact and issues a threat of blackmail. It comes as a shock especially after she told husband Tane Parata that they need to get back to their lives.
Felicity (played by Jacqui Purvis) is slowly trying to get her life back on track after becoming the victim of a sexual assault. Her protective husband, Tane (Ethan Browne), is not making things easy. But perhaps there's a good reason for his concern as she receives a shocking message.
Elsewhere Rose is uncomfortable around Mali following his less-than-romantic love declaration. "He's said I love you to a chicken burger with more passion", she tells Xander. In reality, Rose just had hoped it would be special.
Later, while Rose confides further in Irene, Mali quizzes Xander about his sister's behaviour. When Xander talks Mali through it, the penny drops. He hadn't even realised that he'd actually told Rose he loved her.
When Mali catches up with Rose later, they come to an agreement - he'll take it back and they pretend it never happened. Deal! Meanwhile, Irene is determined to have some fun with Summer Bay's gossip and teach them a lesson for speculating about her and John. She makes a big show of putting a love heart on his coffee, and makes sure Marilyn Chambers knows that she's his plus one for Jett's wedding.
