Travis Scott returned to the arena stage for the first time in nearly a year since the Astroworld Festival tragedy – and he brought along some special guests for support.

Travis Scott give his first major headline performance since last year’s Astroworld tragedy.Performing the first of two sold-out headline shows at London’s O2 Arena – the second coming tonight (August 7) – Scott kicked off the proceedings with a performance of ‘Hold That Heat’.

Travis Scott has announced a seven-night residency at the Zouk nightclub in Las Vegas titled ‘Road to Utopia’.Scott’s residency will begin on September 17, in what the nightclub labelled as a “mind-bending, first-of-its-kind nightclub residency experience,” in a press released shared with Billboard. Scott will reportedly make use of the nightclub’s lighting system, dubbed Mothership, which provides a visual experience as it moves to the music.Chief marketing officer of Resorts World Las Vegas Ronn Nicolli told the outlet that the nightclub’s previous experiences working with Scott convinced them to go ahead with the residency.

Travis Scott has shared his first song as a primary artist since last November, teaming up with NAV to deliver the Lil Baby-assisted ‘Never Sleep’.The song – produced by Tay Keith and Grayson, with co-production from Mike Dean – serves as the lead single from NAV’s upcoming fourth album, ‘Demons Protected By Angels’, which according to a press release, will be “coming soon”.He and Scott share the song’s chorus, rapping: “Geeked, never sleep / Stretch a hundred to millions in weeks / Got her runnin’ and ridin’ for me / Where it’s sunny we gotta retreat / Straight from London, she out in the East / Let her shop and she keep the receipts / Don’t you tell him you got it from me / After this, I’ma need therapy.“I been buildin’ up my legacy / Hundreds on hundreds, on fold / I been up so far, somewhere / Stuck at the top and it’s nowhere to go.”Take a look at the lyric video for ‘Never Sleep’ below:Aside from an uncredited guest feature on Kanye West’s ‘Donda 2’ cut ‘Pablo’, Scott has had a relatively quiet year on the release front. Back in April, though, he appeared on the single ‘Hold That Heat’ alongside Future and 808 Mafia producer Southside.

Travis Scott has officially made his return to the festival circuit. On Saturday night, the 31-year-old surprised the crowd at Rolling Loud Miami when he made an appearance during Future's set.The appearance was his first music festival appearance since last year's Astroworld tragedy, which resulted in the deaths of 10 concertgoers.Scott joined the 38-year-old rapper near the end of his set and they performed their collab, «Hold That Heat,» before launching into a medley of Scott's songs, «Goosebumps» and «No Bystanders.»Scott followed up that appearance with a performance at Miami nightclub E11EVEN on Sunday, where he previously made his return to the stage in May.
