Award-winning Montreal-based Stranger Things and The Lord Of The Rings VFX studio Rodeo FX has appointed Franck Lambertz to head up its recently opened Paris-based European studio.
The veteran VFX expert will oversee the studio’s various divisions such as Films & Episodics and Advertising & Experience.
A respected figure in the VFX world, Lambertz has collaborated with directors such as Frederik Bond, Rupert Sanders, Damien Chazelle, François Rousselet, Robert Rodriguez and Cary Fukunaga.
He has also contributed to award-winning campaigns for prestigious brands such as Chanel, Perrier, Ubisoft and Jean-Paul Gaultier.
Lambertz previously spent 18 years with UK visual effects and animation group MPC, first joining the company in London in 2005, where he initially specialized in advertising, a passion that would follow him throughout his career.
During his time at MPC, he was involved in the opening of new MPC studios in L.A. in 2008, followed by Amsterdam in 2013 and Paris in 2015. He also participated actively in the creation of the French section of the VES (Visual Effects Society).

Opened in June 2023, Rodeo FX’s Paris studio marks the creative company’s fifth office after Montreal, Quebec City, Toronto, and Los Angeles.
