Robert Pattinson is getting involved in what is shaping up to be a high-profile remake of a cult classic horror movie.
The 38-year-old The Batman actor is set to produce a remake of 1981′s Possession, which starred Isabelle Adjani and Sam Niell. For the project, he’s set to join forces with Smile creator Parker Finn.
The movie is already drumming up major interest, and it appears that Robert might even star in it!

The Hollywood Reporter broke the news, announcing that Robert had signed on to produce the new take on the supernatural horror movie via his company Icki Eneo Arlo.
As the script and schedule come together, he might also sign on to take a role onscreen.
The outlet noted that a bidding war is brewing with A24, Netflix, Paramount, Sony and Warner Bros. all expressing interest in distributing the movie. The remake has been described as “bats-it” and “out there,” which has been seen as a major draw.
